Bows and arrows and floods!
Hello all!
Well, I've had a very interesting week so far and it is only Wednesday!
It started raining on Friday night and continued Saturday and Sunday...the bridge had to be closed because of the rising watter levels. Well...the river overflowed its banks and we had lakes on campus, the football field uprights were almost ogne! We could see the crossbar and above, it was really cool! Then classes were cancelled on Monday so my roommates and I, we all were up super early, so we went to the football lake and started skipping stones across! It was so fun! And then did homework and watched M*A*S*H and just had a day off when it wasn't even raining! The water level went down then and it is fine now, so school it back on, but flooding can close our school, how cool is that?!
Then yesterday, I had archery with Juju, it was fantastic!! We get to keep 3 arrows, a quiver, and finger and arm guards! We take them home! The arrows are hanging in our living room at the moment by the way...!! It is too bad we can't take the bows home...Then it would be cool, we could walk around school with bows and arrows...Mwahahaha! (Kinda like in the preview for "The Weatherman" Nicholas Cage is a weatherman and ppl threw stuff at him until he started walking around with a crossbow and bolts! I really should see that movie...)
Now I must go and study for a hard midterm, Chinese History, and finish an essay, both are for tomorrow!! Have a great week!
